North of Paradise’s name is inspired by Downtown Las Vegas, an epicenter of creativity which now houses The Writer’s Block bookstore and the Writing Downtown residency. Downtown Las Vegas is located north of Paradise, Nevada — the unincorporated part of Clark County where The Las Vegas Strip sits. Indeed, the famed Strip sits outside the city of Las Vegas! We support projects at the cross section of Silicon Valley, technology and film. The logo was designed by Aphee Messer.
